Miami blogger Val Prieto of Babalublog was featured in a front-page, below the fold story in today's Miami Herald. The article itself is of average quality, but is punctuated by a curious use of the plural form, such as:
Readers often post remarks to Prieto's blogs, either thanking him for what he's written, criticizing him for his conservatism or asking him for more information on the topic.
and,
Leon enjoys reading Prieto's blogs because his posts are unique and offer readers an insight into Cuban life, which, she said, is nearly impossible to find on the Internet.
(emphasis supplied).
Val himself seems to have gotten some new "fans" through the Herald article. It just goes to show that fame is such a mixed blessing.
